The Igbo language concord covers a wide range of its phonem, word, structure, etc. This piece reviews the rules guiding the structure of twin words in theIgbo language. The problem that prompted this research is that in this modern times, many Igbo language users find it difficult to understand the reasons why some twin words in Igbo are being paired. This reseached paper considers it necessary to brings these secrets to limelight in order that these users of Igbo may be acquainted more with the Igbo language culture too. The general objective of this research is to structure these twin words in the order of their formation in line with the standard Igbo stipulations. The word used for the review that is supposed to be synonymous with‘theory’ is actually an antonym. Concord and its aptitudes are well elucidated. It was found out that if these twin words are separated, the aim of pairing them is defeated. It is recommended that future researchers extend their study of concord to nominal, verbal and compliment
